The First Kindness Festival Cambodia exists with the sole purpose of uplifting humanity through service, compassion and acts of kindness. We believe we can make a positive impact in our communities by sharing expression through art, music, spoken and written word, yoga and dance. It is our intention to share messages of compassion, love and kindness. Our focus is to create an environment where empowered learning, spiritual transformation, and immersion into kindness are accessible to all.
This six day festival is designed to inspire personal growth and transformation through community service. Attendees will participate in potentially lost music exchanges with elders and youth, a hip hop dance dance battle, wellness treatments, traditional Cambodian ceremonies, films, visits to sacred sites, and inspiring talks from spiritual and community leaders.
“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and freedom for all.” Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu
Classes, lectures and events during the festival week will take place at the Svay Dang Kom Pagoda in Siem Reap. Local partner properties will be Botanic Villa, Tangram Gallery Farm to Table, Angkor Wat, and Trakiet School and community. Partner organizations and vendors are invited to participate in the festival as a means to bolster overall festival offerings, promote their mission and personnel, and reinforce the extraordinary diversity in Cambodia.
